Historic Timeline

Burnham and Bennett’s Plan of Chicago was issued in 1909, but its development, implementation and heritage transcend beyond a single year. Dates related to the Plan, the life and work of Burnham, Bennett and others involved in its making are to be included both as an educational resource and as opportunities for planning commemorative events.
