Kachina Doll

Image of Kachina Doll
In age-old rituals, kachina dancers represented gods. To teach children their traditions, Arizona Hopi make dolls to represent these Kachinas. This kachina doll is on exhibit In Bringing the Heavens to Earth, currently at the Adler Planetarium and Astronomy Museum.
