The Electricity Building was one of the most popular attractions at the fair. Electricity was still a novelty for people in 1893. At night, the inside of the building was lit up much brighter than the other buildings in the fair. There was music playing from phonographs, motion picture viewing stations, and a model house filled with electric appliances.
