Commentary:
This mural combines words with pictures to celebrate Dr. King
and inspire others. The painting represents Dr. King speaking,
and the passages from his speeches are written into the mural.
In the background you can see African figures walking with loads
on their heads, and a design of leaves which also link Dr. King
to the African heritage.
The artist, C. Siddha Sila, is widely represented throughout
the South Side.
