Commentary:
This work shows nothing you can recognize except the great disk
(Grande Disco) itself. Still it is fascinating to see the contrast
between the sleek bronze outside and the dark and complicated
inside which might remind you of a machine, even though there
are no machine parts. Since the sculpture is outside a brain research
center, perhaps it will make you think of the of the complex workings
of the brain.
Try to see Pomodoro's Grande Radar when you visit Grande Disco.
It is just two blocks away in the garden of the Smart Gallery.
