The Agricultural Building was designed by the firm
of McKim, Meade & White, of New York. The outside was decorated
with many statues of horses, cows, and other farm animals. There
were also statues of the Zodiac and the Four Seasons representing
the forces of nature that determined a farmers success. Many
states and 13 foreign nations had displays inside the building.
