The architect of the Horticulture Building was
William Le Baron Jenney, of Chicago. In the center, there was
a large dome that was
180 ft. high. There were four smaller domes surrounding
the large one. Each had glass roofs so the building functioned
like a greenhouse. Many exotic plants from all over the
world were displayed in the Horticultural Hall.
