Many of the concessions on the Midway were replicas
of cafes, restaurants, and other attractions from various cultures
and were operated by representatives of those cultures. This
photo shows the German Village. In the German Village visitors
could see Germans dressed in the fashions of their country, listen
to music performed by a German military band, and drink German
beer. Many cultures sponsored similar concessions on the Midway.
