Geared toward the Mathematics student of any age or discipline,
this Web site allows students to correspond with Mathematics experts
via email.While the Web site has no activities, it is very useful
to the student of mathematics. Ask Dr. Math has compiled an amazing
amount of information. So much information that it is sometimes
difficult to find what you want. If you have the patience to peruse
this site, it can be a huge benefit to both student and teacher.
If either teacher or student has a question just e-mail the good
doctor (they use a revolving group of mathematicians) and he/she
will respond. It should be noted that not since they receive upwards
of 300 questions per day that many people are simply referred
to the archives if they feel the question has already been answered.
This site is wonderful for homework help and class questions that
the teacher cannot answer. Can be difficult to use for elementary
students working individually. It is best used with the teacher
for younger students.
