Commentary:
This work, a very powerful one, shows African American people
in carrying out a great range of activities and states that now
is the time for them all to unite.
The mural was made as part of the 1976 bicentennial celebration
of the Declaration of Independence. Perhaps the artists meant
it as a call for black Independence.
