Commentary:
This handsome piece stands in a reflecting pool outside the University
of Chicago Law School. It is made of long strips of metal welded
together and they give it a special sense of lightness and energy.
Pevsner created this piece before anyone had seen a computer screen,
but now it is easy to see a comparison with images with images
created programs that generate interesting moving shapes for screen
savers or mathematical simulations.
