This photo was taken from the upper deck of the
Manufactures Building at the Southwest corner. It shows the western
end of the Grand Basin and Court of Honor. Across the
basin from left to right
are the Agriculture, Machinery, and Administration Buildings.
Photos like this one demonstrate how each building is designed
to complement all of the others. Because it was designed and
built at the same time, the fair represented a beautiful, clean,
and orderly city that didn't
exist anywhere.
