The Administration Building was considered to be
one of the most beautiful structures of the fair.
It was designed by Robert Hunt, of New York. The building served
as the headquarters of the fair and had offices for the chief
officers of the Exposition. The rotunda under the dome was a
popular meeting place for visitors of the fair. The dome was
260 feet
high.
