This painting is by Elias Evimovicht Repine and
belonged to the Emperor of Russia. This painting tells the story
of the King of Poland who sent the Cossacks of Russia a threatening
message that they must join his army or be killed. Cossacks,
known for their fighting skills, laughed at the king's threat.
Visitors to the fair were able to see the skill of Cossack horseman
at the Wild Bill Wild West Show. For the fair, the Wild West
Show featured displays by cavalry from around the world.
