Race, Gender and Imperialism at the Fair Images
This photo
is typical of many of the official images of the fair. It shows nicely
dressed upper class white people relaxing by the water. Some people are
critical of the fact the fair showed only these types of people and didn't
feature images that were representative of the different types of people
that attended the fair.
