Location: 4859 S. Wabash--The Charles A. Hayes Family Investment Center

Medium: Mural

Commentary: This early and exceptionally fine work by William Walker, the dean of the Chicago mural art movement, depicts the confrontation of workers and bosses during union organizing. The very stark figures and strong moral tone is much in the tradition of Diego Rivera, the great Mexican muralist from whom all muralists have learned.
