Commentary:
This big (6' 4") black ball might make you wonder if it is
art at all. What is it? It is like a ball, but it is not like
a picture or a sculpture of a ball; it is round but it is not
perfectly round; you can't move it; you can't see over it or play
on it; if you look carefully its surface is irregular as if it
were patted into shape by hand rather than made on a machine.
It seems so simple, but it is hard to say exactly what it is.
