Commentary:
These simple forms suggest a graceful movement, like a dance.
Since the name, "Dialogo", means dialogue and since
the work stands near the center of a great university, perhaps
it is the dance of thought rather than bodies that is meant. If
so, you might note the comparison with "Lessing" which
stands near the DuSable museum. It is undoubtedly supposed to
portray a man in thought, but how differently. How do you like
the classical realism of "Lessing" compared with the
suggesstive modernism of "Dialogo."
