David Philpot and Milton Mizenberg are self-taught community artists
who worked with treetrunks carved in graceful abstractions which
only remotely resemble Native American totem poles.
The Donnelley Art Garden is unquestionably the greatest accumulation
of outdoor art on the south side of Chicago.
