The Crash
of 1929
All anyone could hear on Thursday, October 24th, 1929, were the
words, "Sell! Sell! Sell!" Although the stock market
stabilized that day, the panic continued and right around the
corner was the single most devastating day in the market's history.
The crash of the stock market would end the prosperity of the
20's and lead to the Great Depression.
